The Skills for Life and Work Program

The Skills for Life and Work program helps you find, secure and maintain meaningful employment.

Employment Services for People with Multiple Barriers

Back in Motion Skills for Life and Work Program is a 6 week cohort-based program designed to assist individuals with multiple barriers to employment by providing individuals with training in soft skills, essential skills and job readiness skills.

By participating in this program, you will gain the skills needed to find, secure, and maintain meaningful employment.

This program is funded by the Government of Canada through the Canada-British Columbia Workforce Development Agreement; through the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training.

Currently, due to Covid-19 pandemic, our cohorts have transitioned to virtual classes and one-on-one video-conferencing meetings. When pandemic is over, and it is safe for participants and staff, our cohorts will return to in-person classroom delivery.
